As part of the Young Health program, AstraZeneca has already developed a didactic game for primary school children, called the Quiz for Primary School Kids, together with the Diabetes Association and Value Add Games d.o.o., in 2020.
Since this is a game that must also be presented to primary school children, and since the epidemiological situation in the country has made this impossible for almost two years, they have now decided, together with us, of course, to give the Quiz its epilogue and to present it to the children in an appropriate way. Thus, the Primary School of Drago Kobal, together with 200 children, has accepted the donation of 12 Exhilarating Quizzes, which will also be used as part of the curriculum. The presentation of the quiz will also take place in other primary schools throughout Slovenia.
The purpose of the Quiz is to introduce children to the importance of healthy lifestyles, the essence of healthy living and the quiz in an appropriate way, with the aim of maximizing its usefulness in educational processes and content. From now on, children will be able to discover the benefits of the Quiz, whether during their extended stay, during the various technical days or other extra-curricular activities. To date, the Quiz has been presented in a number of primary schools across Slovenia, with the final event taking place at the Drago Kobal Primary School in Maribor before the holidays. More than 200 children were there to watch the children's show Jelka's Miracle and the features of the Quiz, and were addressed by a representative of the Diabetes Association, in addition to the headmaster. The children's smiles and sparkles in their eyes more than proved that they were more than enthusiastic about the quiz itself and the content of the event. To round off the event, the children also received an educational leaflet and a placemat inviting them to a diabetes knowledge competition.
